A total of 884 vacant places remain available for students, consisting of 794 places in Maltese church schools and 90 in Gozitan ones.
Under long-established criteria, the admission of children in various categories – including children from church homes, social cases, siblings of present church school students and the children of school employees – are prioritised, with their application process having taken place last November.
The next call for applications, for which applications will be accepted between 1-14 February, covers all other prospective students with the exception of asylum seekers, for whom applications are to be accepted in March.
Malta applications will be accepted at church.mt/applications, whereas Gozo applications will be accepted at church.mt/gozoapplications.
